Millenium
The X-files and Millenium crossover episode with Frank Black. I never watched Millenium but right now I have this urge to go out and buy the DVD box.
I really wish they would've mentioned Scully's ouroborus tattoo, pretty sure Mulder could've made some sarcastic/jealous reference to it.
Scully believes in zombies for a change. Though I have to admit she doesn't seem to have as much trouble believing what she sees anymore lately.
In the end, Scully saves Mulder and Frank Black from more zombies (and possibly the end of the world). I was a bit surprised to see how big Mulder's circle of salt was, he must have really big hands...
Mulder finally has the guts to kiss Scully on the lips. After rewinding it a couple of times, I still can't figure out what they were thinking. They both seemed surprised and happy right after the kiss and then Mulder opens his mouth says the world didn't end and they both look sort of dissapointed. Why couldn't Mulder open his mouth during the kiss and kept it closed afterwards ;-)
Rush
Mulder looks extremely happy to see Scully (maybe I interpreted the reaction after the Millenium kiss completely wrong after all?). Didn't find the episode all that interesting apart from some Mulder and Scully interactions. At least Chuck's back again. I like Chuck, he's like Mulder and Scully rolled into one (he just doesn't look that good).
The Goldberg Variation
Mulder laughs at Scully's joke. He seems to be doing that a lot more lately, or maybe Scully is just joking more again.
One of my favourite scenes in this episode is Mulder trying to do some plumbing and failing miserably, eventually falling through the floor.
He also looks a bit queesy when Weems puts his fake eye in again.
Scully says she likes baseball too (I'd like baseball too after some private coaching from Mulder).
Orison
I quite like this episode and I love that song (then again, I'm a bit of an 80s freak when it comes to music). There are a few weird twists as well, like why do they suddenly stop looking for Pfaster after Orison turns up dead. You'd think after all Scully went through with Pfaster, they would both be pretty determined to lock him up again.
Although there's quite a bit of angst it has a few funny moments as wel, like Mulder waving his hand trying to make Scully do something.
On top of all Pfaster's other freaky fetishes he now has a red-hair fetish as well. When Pfaster was attacking Scully and she got away, why did she run for the phone, why not just run outside. I'm pretty sure she could've outrun him. And what's up with her neighbours? Are they all deaf or something, why didn't they call the cops?
I really wish she hadn't shot Pfaster though, it's just not something she would do (I know I know, that's the whole point, but still). In my opinion, if anybody was going to shoot Pfaster it would have to have been Mulder, right after he walked into the apartment. You know, just enter, shoot and look for Scully, not waisting precious time keeping Pfaster at gunpoint instead of trying to find out if Scully was ok.
The amazing Maleeni
It's an amusing episode with a few funny scenes, but that's about it.
There is of course the part where Scully calls Mulder a skeptic.
And how did Scully do that trick? I think I knew how to do that when I was a kid but I can't seem to remember anymore now.
Signs and wonders
Another religiously tinted episode. Now all of a sudden believes in the devil? Maybe because of all the snakes. Story didn't make a lot of sense though.
Sein und Zeit
Finally they put an end to the Samantha mytharc. Don't quite understand why Mulder's mother had to commit suicide. What's the point, to make Mulder even more miserable? And why is Mulder's mother burning their photographs?
Mulder acting weirder than usual; he is actually asking for some time off, can't be a good sign. Scully comforting Mulder after his mother's suicide.
Scully in full protective mode when Skinner knocks on Mulder's door.
Closure
Scully breaks into Mulder's moms house. CSM breaks into Scully's apartment.
Why doesn't Scully tell Mulder CSM came to talk to her? For two people who are so eager to find the truth, Mulder and Scully sure keep a lot of secrets from eachother.
I just love the ending where Mulder says he's free.
Really like that music with the scene with all the walk-ins, very fitting.
Still don't understand why the walk-ins made the parents write those weird notes after their child had been taken in Sein und Zeit.
Although I really liked these two episodes and how they solve the mystery surrounding Samantha, it does leave a bit of a bad taste after 7 years of everybody claiming she was still alive. I'm also finding it hard to believe Mulder's mom knew about what happened to Samantha all these years. I mean, she obviously wasn't the world's best mom, but not telling Mulder would be downright cruel.
X-cops
The storyline isn't very interesting, but not as bad as I thought it was. And there are some pretty funny scenes in there. Like Scully trying to hide for the camera, Mulder and Scully in the middle of a domestic disturbance, all the bleeping and blurred faces.
And if looks could kill, those cameramen would be dead from the "Scully-glare".
