X files movie marathon: X-files shippers unite

I'm falling behind on my blog. Can't seem to find the time to watch X-files episodes and update this blog everyday (shippy X-files episodes are extremely time-consuming with all the rewinding and slow-motion playback...). So if the following post doesn't make much sense, I was in a hurry.


Monday
Groundhog day meets the X-Files.
Scully's "How about Steve" comment in asking for Bernard's name reminded me of "Over the hedge" :-)
Scully looks less calm then usual. Mulder is shot a couple of times. All of them get blown up a couple of times. Luckily the Mulder and Scully conversations change, which was rather amusing.
Just as i was wondering why they didn't just shoot Bernard in the arm or the head, Mulder shoots him in the shoulder, but they all get blown up again anyway... should've aimed for the head Mulder.

Arcadia
First there was a Jewish mud monster, now there's an Arcadian garbage monster.
Mulder is a better actor than Scully who's looking a little stressed from playing house with Mulder. Mulder/Rob can't keep his hands of Scully/Laura, which seems to irritate Scully to no end (maybe she's pissed about the whole Diana situation).
Scully's fake laugh after Mulder's dolphin joke is hilarious. As are a lot of other situations with them pretending to be a normal couple.
Scully gets up to take a walk with Cami and Mulder tries to what, hug her? kiss her? Either way, it was a little embarrassing. Mulder's smile was hilarious though.
Oh, and the whole bedroom scene is great too, the look on Mulder's face when Scully comes out of the bathroom.
Mulder molests his mailbox in an act of revenge for the disappearing flamingo. He wants to pee in the empty juice carton, but apparently thinks better of it (maybe because he's living with Scully who seems less than impressed by Mulder's habits).
Arcadia Falls was built on a landfill, which is a nice change from the common Indian graveyard. Scully is locked in a closet and misses everything again.

Alpha
Mulder introduces himself as Fox. Why does he let absolutely everybody, even CSM, call him Fox, except for Scully? Scully teaches Mulder about women and their tricks...I don't think he's learned a lot about that from his video collection.
What was that Scully look after she asked Mulder if he was going to be OK? It looked as if she thought it was funny or something. Mulder gets a new "I want to believe poster".

The "dear diary" episode :-)
How do you explain a crack in the trunk like that to the car rental agency? For the rental agency employee (whatever that job is called) I'm hoping Scully returned the car and just told them to charge any expenses. Can you imagine Mulder returning the car...
How come Trevor can touch June without hurting her?
Mulder looks really good running around with a shotgun.

Milagro
Scully has a stalker. She sure knows how to attract freaks (should I include Mulder in that list?).
Shipper heaven, Scully touching Mulder's arm while he's interrogating Padgett, to calm him down. Scully doesn't seem so sure of herself when she says to Mulder he knows her better than that (after he suggests her and the stranger doing the naked pretzel). Scully nearly dies again, this time in Mulder's apartment. The shock on Mulder's face when he sees her lying there...I'm going to read some more fanfic...

The unnatural
Mulder's hair is growing back (thank god).
Mulder and Scully are hurling cliches at one another, then Mulder dives for the "ice cream". Where can I get a non-fat yadda yadda whatever? I wanna try one.
Mulder fake sneezing while he rips out a page of the book.
Arthur Dales keeps calling Mulder agent MacGyver (I loved MacGyver when I was a kid).
I think it's about a baseball team called the Grays, the star player is an alien. The whole alien baseball-player thing is a little vague to me, but that's probably because I rewinded the beginning and end 10 times and fast forwarded anything non-shippy.
