X files movie marathon: betrayal

Tithonus
Scully is sent out on assignment without Mulder. She gets called 'Red' after which she slaps the suspect in the face.
Peyton shoots Fellig but the bullet goes right through him shooting Scully as well. Luckily she makes a quick recovery after nearly dying.


Two fathers and One son
Another mytharc two-parter. Cassandra Spender returns and turns out to be a human alien hybrid. She knows everything about the black oil (purity) and the aliens' plans on colonization. CSM hits Jeffrey twice and says he's nothing compared to Mulder. Later on Krycek kills an alien and yet he and Jeffrey aren't affected by the green blood?
It also becomes very clear how much Krycek admires CSM. CSM in turn feels betrayed and asks Fowley for help. And of course she's very eager to comply.
Fowley then busts into Mulder's appartment to get to Cassandra and comes up with a ridiculous story about a virus. Which is why Mulder and Scully end up in the shower together (not exactly the way I wanted them to shower together, but beggars can't be choosers right?). Do you think Mulder was trying to catch a glimpse of Scully's tattoo?
Anyhooooo, after the shower Mulder's being a jerk again, not believing Scully when she says Fowley's no good. Even when she and the Gunmen come up with information that raises some very good questions. I really feel Mulder betrays Scully by not believing her.
At least he bothered to break into Fowley's appartment afterwards to look for evidence himself. Then again, I don't understand why he believed CSM's story that he was looking for Jeffrey in Fowley's locked appartment...that just doesn't make any sense.
Once again he points a gun at old Smokey, that's what, the third time without pulling the trigger?
After Mulder explains to Fowley what's going on (like she doesn't already know), they actually kiss (good thing I wasn't eating). At least he has the decency to inform Scully of impending doom afterwards. At the end of the episode, after another alien barbecue, Jeffrey Spender asks Kersh to put Mulder and Scully back on the X-files and is then shot by his own father.


Agua Mala
After a phone call from Arthur Dales, Mulder and Scully fly up to Florida in the middle of a tropical storm to investigate a sea monster.
Dales doesn't seem too impressed with Scully at first, but at the end of the episode he's convinced she saved the day leaving Mulder looking a little pathetic.
I quite liked this episode, especially the scenes where the sherrif wants to arrest them, and the one where they use kitchen supplies as medical equipment :-)
