Started watching season 9 in my X files movie marathon last night. The only good thing about a mostly Mulderless season is that I won't have to hear Doggett say Mulder that much.
Nothing important happened today I and II
48 hours later, Mulder sure has a lot of bags ready at Scully's. I'm assuming
he was living there full-time. It's also not quite clear to me how you can go
on the run with that many bags.
AD Brad Follmer is introduced and Reyes doesn't seem to happy with Brad's
greeting. He's a bit presumptuous after 2 years if you ask me.
I hope that 's not drinking water Shannon's swimming in.
Scully really didn't want to have that conversation with Doggett, who sure is having a bad day with everybody telling him to drop the case. Reyes on the other hand is hilarious during the Skinner Doggett conversation only movng her eyes, like watching a tennis game.
Sleepy Scully really is out like a light if she didn't hear that creaking mere seconds after she hit the bed.
Reyes has some very impressive "feelings" to look for a pencil in the ceiling.
Reyes is once again impressed with Scully and assumes Scully's afraid
something's wrong with her baby. Scully must be losing her touch though, how
do you miss something as obvious as those fingerprint bruises on the ankle, don't
they normally examine the outside first during an autopsy, before they start
slicing and dicing?
Frohike seemed pleasantly surprised to see Reyes at the door, maybe he finally gave up on Scully.
Doggett whips out his knife again. Those files are going to be pretty useless after being in the water, and why don't they float upwards when Doggett's being pulled down and obviously not
holding them?
I'm a bit confused, who stuck his hand through Shannon and let Doggett go on his merry way? the headless "corpse" of Knowle Rohrer?
And why is Doggett holding Scully's hand when they're trying to get out of the ship? Can't she run by herself anymore now that she's a mommy?
So Kersh is in fact a good guy and told Mulder his life was in danger (what else is new)? Does make sense that Scully would be the only person able to convince Mulder to go.
Daemonicus
Playing boardgames is just as dangerous as going to the toilet on the X-files, abductions during stratego, muder-suicides during scrabble. And they say TV and videogames lead to violence...
I had the feeling there was something wrong with Reyes, then I realised she only started smiling after about 10 minutes.
So how much time has passed since William was born now that Scully is teaching
at the academy?
Kobold, very fitting name for a daemonic looney.
Why are the crazy guys always spot on with their psycho babble? And why does Doggett keep standing in front of Kobold when he's giving his best exorcist performance? You'd think he would move backwards after the first stream of projectile vomiting hit him...some reflexes you got there Agent Doggett...
4-D
Very confusing beginning and it just keeps getting weirder. I actually like this storyline, a parallel universe is a first for the X-Files (though there are plenty of fanfics out there about this).
Scully tries to stop the interrogation of Reyes. I guess they've gotten close after delivering William in the middle of nowhere surrounded by supersoldiers.
I'm surprised Scully, the navy-brat linguist, didn't pick up on the morse-code thingy.
Pretty funny to hear Reyes talking about "her" Doggett.
Really loved Skinner during the interrogation of Lukesh. I'm glad he's got more to do these days than to look annoyed at his subordinates and tell them he can't help cause he's compromised.
Wow, Reyes really knows how to stay cool when Lukesh was talking to her at the police station. Yet not a cigarette in sight afterwards, did she kick the habit, cause I haven't seen her smoke for 4 episodes?
Reyes shaving Doggett at the hospital was really sweet. Although the following conversation wasn't.
Nice shot from Follmer, he didn't even hesitate, which considering Reyes' situation was probably a good thing.
