X files movie marathon: 2 seasons down

Finished the second season in my X files movie marathon yesterday.
Don't have much time right now, I'll try to add more info later, so here's the list of episodes: Humbug, The Calusari, F.Emasculata, Soft light, Our town, Anasazi.

My favourites: Humbug, Our town and Anasazi.

I'm a sucker for the funny "monster of the week episodes", and Humbug definitely falls into that category. The part where they dig up the sheriff's potato and get caught red handed...the looks on their faces and following banter trying to explain themselves is hilarious. And that's not the only time they end up looking like fools :-)

Our town, how do they come up with these stories? I was actually in the middle of dinner when I started watching that episode. Thank God for vegetarian tofu!. On another note, where did the maid go after Mulder opened the big red cabinet of horrors? I'm pretty sure I would scream my lungs out if I found out my boss had a closet full of heads in his living room...
And once again Scully gets hit on the head, I'm surprised neither of them are suffering from permanent braindamage at the rate they're always getting smacked on the head. Oh and she gets kidnapped as well...again...

Anasazi is the mytharc episode ending season 2. We find out more about Mulder's father and his past. Oh, and is that Chris Carter in the meeting with Skinner? Why yes, yes it is. How very Hitchcock of him :-) I checked IMDB, and apparently Anasazi isn't the only episode he was in.

During the beginning of season 3 of the X files everything goes from bad to worse. Quick recap of this 3 episode mytharc (Anasazi, The blessing way and Paperclip); Mulder is drugged, picks a fight with Skinner (and loses, nobody's a match for the Skinman), Scully gets shot at in Mulder's appartment, Krycek kills Mulder's father, Scully shoots Mulder in the shoulder, Mulder ends up being bombed in a buried train, Mulder "dies", Scully has to turn in her badge, Scully finds out she has a chip in the back of her neck, first appearance of the Well-manicured Man (where do they come up with these names?), Scully holds a gun on Skinner, Mulder (who isn't dead after all) joins in and also holds a gun on Skinner, Krycek shoot Scully's sister Melissa (he's a busy little ratboy), Mulder and Scully find out some big government secret and escape a small army, end up with no proof and Melissa dies at the end.

But my favourite part of all three episodes is where Skinner tells the Smoking Man to "pucker up and kiss my ass!!!"
